Biography

Dan graduated from Central Michigan University with degrees in Theatre and Public Relations. Upon graduation he completed the apprenticeship program at Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theatre Company where he appeared in such productions as: Keely & Du, Stanton's Garage, Hang the Moon & The Harmony Codes. Other theatre credits include: Of Mice & Men, Bleacher Bums, Barefoot in the Park, Prelude to a Kiss, The Three Musketeers, Shooting Simone, The 1940's Radio Hour and Lend me a Tenor. Film credits include: DreamWorks' feature House of Sand & Fog, based on the best selling novel by Andre Dubus III and starring Ben Kingsley, Jennifer Connelly and Ron Eldard. DAREDEVIL, the 20th Century Fox/Regency film starring Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Michael Clarke Duncan & Colin Farrell. Jeff Daniels' SUPERSUCKER the 2002 Audience Award winner at the HBO US Comedy Festival! Super Sucker stars Jeff Daniels, Harve Presnell and Matt Letscher and was shot entirely in Dan's hometown of Jackson, Michigan. Vanguard Cinema's THE WICKSBORO INCIDENT, Dark Horse Entertainment's DESTINATION MARS, 2nd Unit, Look Both Ways, The Legacy & Casting George Jetson a short film Dan wrote, produced and stars in. Dan is also a proud member of the LA based improv group OUT ON A LIMB that performs regularly at the Comedy Store and the Stella Adler Theatre. Dan is currently working on Real Friends with his producing and writing partner Matthew Atzenhoffer.
